Llama on Broadway... 'Bells are ringing' opened on 29 November 1956 at Shubert Theater at 225 West 44th Street in Midtown, Manhattan.

  3. I worked in 17 Battery Place from 68 to 72.We saw the WTC going up right behind us. Also Battery Park City and the landfill, plus the demolition of the upper roadway of the West Side Highway. Major changes in just a few years. Great pictures. Reliving my teenage years in Times Square of the 1950s. Thanks so much.
